Ch Northwind’s Travlin’ Man De Sud
x CH Northwind Elves In Trees, FCH
Ten puppies, DOB 10-2-2013
Where’s Waldo? Can you count all ten?
All the puppies have temporary names that are magic. Elves, wizards, witches and a fairy.
Ten puppies, the six little girls first:
Tinkerbell needs no introduction from the magic world of Peter Pan. She has a wide blaze and a collar around her neck that is narrow on her left and wide on her right.
*******************************************************************************
Elfin. What else can you say when you look at this face? From the dictionary “small and delicate, typically with an attractively mischievous or strange charm.” Her narrow blaze and dark markings down her muzzle give her a quizzical look.
********************************************************************************
Genie – a magic spirit that looks like a person, often lives in a lamp or bottle and served the person who calls it. She has a lovely white blaze and the collar on the back of her neck is shaped like the hood of a cobra.
********************************************************************************
Glinda is named for the good witch in the Wizard of Oz. She has beautiful markings – a wide white blaze that connect to the white on the back of her neck.
********************************************************************************
Pixies are thought to gather in large groups to dance in the moonlight. She has a wide collar on the right side and a beautiful, symmetrical blaze.
*******************************************************************************
Sprite is a broad term for legendary elf-like creatures like fairies. She has a beautiful, symmetrical blaze and is the darkest of the girls, with just a single spot of white on the back of her neck.
*******************************************************************************
Four little boys next:
Gremlin was the last puppy born and the biggest. He is the lightest in color, looking more fawn already. He has a narrow blaze and a collar on his right side.
*******************************************************************************
Merlin – the name is synonymous with magic. He has a wonderful expression – the dark color just touch the edge of his eyes and you can see small points jutting in over the eyes. This should grow up into a very interesting expression.
*******************************************************************************
Oz is named for the all knowing mighty wizard of Oz. He has a full white collar and a wide, lovely blaze.
****************************************************************************
Puck, also known as Robin Goodfellow, is a character from Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream. A mischievous elf that personifies the trickster. He has a full white collar, coming up the back of his neck.
