► This pink and white leopard pattern whippet coat will please the most fastidious girl. The fabric is Minky - an amazingly soft, plush, yet durable fabric that drapes beautifully on the dog. If you touch Minky, you'll never go back to fleece. It’s like wearing a warm hug. Colors are far sharper and more vivid than fleece fabric.
And, a big bonus is that Minky is easy to care for - wash in cold water and dry in a cool dryer.
The inner shell is Polartec™ 200 weight fleece. The same warm, professional weight fleece found in human winter wear.
►Cut, Fit and Sizing. The coats are generous, covering the hindquarters for warmth. A breast piece comes through the front legs and protects the entire chest area - great if your dog is curled up in a crate waiting for you.
Two sizes are available - Medium and Large. The medium fits most whippets up to 30 pounds. The larger coat is for the males, or a girl with a longer body. It fits whippets up to 40 pounds. ONLY LARGE IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME
►Styling of the neck piece. The extra long, velvet faced Polartec™ turtleneck can either be worn folded into a traditional turtleneck shape, or allowed to fall in graceful folds on the neck
►Buckle and Elastic. Quick release buckles makes it a snap to get on and off your dog. No Velcro tabs to snag and catch. A slide with gripping teeth holds the elastic in place, creating a great fit. Once adjusted, it fits your dog exactly.
►Professional Construction. I use a serger for outside edges of the coat, which trims and smoothly encases the fabric. The elastic belt is securely fastened to the chest piece with triple stitching. Neck and collar seams are also tightly sewn.
